Verse 1: What is a bad habit that you’ve tried to break? What are some positive ways you recommend people deal with bad habits? What are some negative ways to feel with bad habits?

I told you!Why do you think Paul was so frustrated with the church in Corinth? How do we best deal with sin issues that crop up in our own lives or in the lives of our friends/family?

Verse 2-4: What are some ways that we can hold each other accountable? Do you have a story of when you were held accountable to someone when you fell short of the goal? What can/should churches do to hold one another accountable? How does the power of god factor into all of this?

Verse 5-6: Is there any value in examining/testing ourselves spiritually? How would we do it? What should we be looking for? How do we know if we failed or passed the test?

Paul writes many times in his letters that Christ is in us? What does that mean? Is it literal or figurative?

Verse 7: Have you ever felt that you failed as a parent in some way by how your kids have behaved in some situation? How did you handle that situation? How did your kids think you handled that situation?

Verse 8-9: Have you ever had a great relationship go sour? Do you still yearn for restoration of that relationship?

How do we find restoration in our spiritual lives? Is there an area where you are praying for restoration in your life?

Verse 10: Do you think there are ever appropriate times where you need to tear down some part of your life before you can build it up again? How would we go about that?

Verse 11-14: Is there a relationship with another believer that needs healing at this time? What are some steps you could take toward restoring that relationship?
